Flower Mound CERT is...
The Mission of CERT is:
"Provide assistance to the Flower Mound Fire Department and to the Citizens of Flower Mound in the event of a large scale disaster or large scale man-made event that would otherwise tie up significant fire and rescue resources. Our team is also available to assist local law enforcement during missing persons searches."
These goals are accomplished by:
- Maintaining a high standard of training and readiness
- Supporting programs that encourage members to receive additional training
- Providing education and training for our Team Members
- Conducting periodic large scale exercises to practice critical skills
